IMPORTANT: If you haven't seen a Treasure Chest or Shrine spawning where they usually do, make sure there to check if a Hidden Lair is active near the area shown in our map. Some zones have uniquely named variants, but for general purposes, all of them are treasure chests in this guide.Īnother thing to keep in mind: Purple Rare Elites such as Ululatros (shown in the map above) are actually Side Quests and reward Enchanted Dust x 3 - material used to rank up/upgrade Legendary Items. Some are harder to see on the ground than others. Treasure Chests have many variants: Satchels, Journals, Cultist Corpse, Demon Corpse, Bone Pile, Treasure Chest, Glorious Chest, Resplendent Chest, Cursed Chest, and Heavy Ornate Chest. The treasure chest, the shrine and the side quest share a randomized respawn rotation where only one of them spawns at a time. You click that bone pile, and a few seconds later a side quest spawns - but no treasure chest and no shrine spawns. A few seconds later, a bone pile spawns in a nearby location. A shrine spawns, but the treasure chest doesn't. You click that treasure chest and loot it. There are maybe two Treasure Chests in the area where the Side Quest or Purple Rare Elite you want is located. Side quests, treasure chests, shrines and hidden lairs share the same respawn rotation list.Ĭ. The Side Quests and Purple Rare Elites aren't always there when you first reach the location. Side Quest Farming Mechanics in Diablo Immortal Unfortunately, if you set out to do Side Quests, it's not quite as simple as "just go to the Quest Giver's spot." We'll cover how to get the side quests you want next. We interrupt your navigation to bring you a Side Quest. They will appear on your minimap when you are in range, and there will be a quest giver to interact with. The other way to find Side Quests is to find the Quest Givers right in the open world by farming for them or just in the course of your normal activities. You get an extra bonus chest when all three are done. Taite will give you leads to three Side Quests once a day. One is from the Adventure Seeker Taite in Westmarch. They usually require several steps to complete, and eventually result in a treasure chest reward. Side quests are special chains of activities that are granted by a quest giver in Sanctuary.
